Abstract:
در این مقاله تاریخچه، ریخت شناسی، ترکیبات فعال، اشکال دارویی، مکانیسم‌های عمل، مطالعات بالینی، عوارض جانبی، تداخلات دارویی و موارد منع مصرف گیاه زنجبیل مرور شده است. این مرور وسیع بر پایه اطلاعات موجود در شبکه اینترنت، مجلات علمی و جدیدترین کتب علمی موجود صورت گرفته است. زنجبیل گیاهی دارویی است که در درمان بیماری‌های مختلف از جمله تهوع و استفراغ ناشی از مسافرت و نیز اختلالات روماتیسمی مثل آرتریت روماتویید و استئوآرتریت به کار می‌رود. با این وجود مطالعات بالینی که ارزش کاربرد این گیاه را در درمان بیماری‌های مختلف نشان دهند، ناچیز می‌باشند.
